Iowa Open Meetings Policy
It is the intention of Iowa LGRP to comply with Iowa Code Section 21 on Open Meetings. Iowa LGRP Board of Directors meetings, whether in-person or electronic, shall be held in open session unless closed sessions are expressly permitted by Iowa law. The purpose of any closed session shall be noted in the minutes of the meeting.
Public Notice
Public notice shall be posted on this webpage for all Board of Directors meetings, as well as posted at the office of Iowa LGRP located at 1201 63rd Street, Des Moines, Iowa, 50311. Notices shall be posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting and shall include the time, date, place of each meeting, as well as the tentative agenda for the meeting. If the Board of Directors is meeting electronically, the notice shall include the appropriate person to contact for electronic meeting login instructions.
Minutes
Minutes of each Board of Directors meeting shall be kept and will include the date, time, place, the members present, and the action taken at each meeting.

Iowa LGRP Public Records Request Policy & Form is intended to implement the provisions of Iowa Code Chapter 22 by providing the procedures and parameters to request examination of public records and to Iowa LGRP representatives in fulfilling those requests.
